TCEQ grants environmental permits to Istmo Energy for the Pecos Crude Processing Export Terminal in Reeves County.

The TCEQ has approved Istmo Energy’s application and issued the corresponding air permits required for the construction of Istmo Energy’s distillate and propane export facility in West Texas.   In response to Istmo’s application, and based on the information submitted and the review completed by the TCEQ, Istmo Energy has certified the emissions associated with Pecos Crude Processing and Export Terminal which will be in compliance and operated in accordance with all rules and regulations of the TCEQ and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.   This action was granted under authority delegated by the Executive Director of the TCEQ, and is a major milestone for the Pecos Crude Processing and Export Terminal project under development in Reeves County, Texas.    The Pecos Export Terminal will generate long term employment opportunities and economic benefits in Reeves County, and represents a promising market for Delaware basin producers as an outlet of light crude oil and NGLs.
