Kiewit completes the FEED engineering and starts working towards the project FEL-3 LSTK package of Istmo Energy’s Pecos Crude Processing and Export Terminal.

In a significant milestone for the Pecos Crude Processing terminal, Kiewit has completed and submitted the project’s FEED package to Istmo and has begun work towards the project’s Lump-Sum-Turn-Key (LSTK) engineering package.   The Pecos Crude Processing Export Terminal consists of a 25,000 barrel per day modular refinery with additional fractionation capacity that will come to fill the needs and requirements for distillates and propane of Istmo’s customers in Northwest Mexico.   Upon completion of the LSTK engineering package, Istmo and Kiewit will finalize the terms and conditions of the EPC contract to build the facility to meet the forecast COD and market commitments of Istmo with its customers.
