Istmo Energy and Kiewit Engineering sign agreement to design and build Refinery in Reeves County for the sale of Distillates and Propane to Mexico.

Istmo Energy, LLC (“Istmo”) and Kiewit Engineering Group Inc. (“Kiewit”) have signed an Engineering Services Agreement (ESA) to have Kiewit design the complete Pecos Export Terminal facility in Reeves County which looks to export distillates to off takers Istmo has secured in Northwest Mexico.

“Istmo is excited to engage Kiewit, one of the largest and most respected construction and engineering companies in North America, to develop the engineering for this important project.”, Alex Gutierrez, Managing Director for Istmo stated.   Through the ESA, Kiewit will design, engineer and build the Pecos Export Terminal which incorporates a 25,000 barrel topping unit to process Delaware Basin light crude along with fractionation capacity that will meet the demands of Istmo’s customers.
